In the production solution of the emulsifier as the main equipment product, the rotor pump is an auxiliary equipment that often needs to be included in the scheme. It is generally used to transport materials. The rotor pump is a positive displacement pump. It can be used to transport high concentration and high viscosity materials. In our selection of samples, an important parameter of the rotor pump is the flow rate in addition to the power. So, how to choose the rotor pump, what factors should be considered in the selection? Here is a brief introduction to the rotor pump.
1.Different impeller
Rotor pumps are designed with various types of rotors for different delivery requirements.
One-blade rotor: It is suitable for conveying medium containing large granular materials. The breaking rate of large granular materials is low, but its pulsation is large, the pressure is low, and the volume is small.
Two-blade rotor: suitable for conveying medium containing medium and small granular materials. The breaking rate of medium and small granular materials is relatively low, slightly pulsating, and the volume is larger than that of one-blade rotor.
Three-blade rotor: the general rotor type, the volume is larger than other types of rotors, the various performance indexes are better than one-leaf and two-leaf rotors, and the three-blade rotor has a certain breaking rate to the particulate matter in the process of conveying materials.
2. Differences in materials
Different materials, its material properties in terms of concentration and viscosity will be very different. Therefore, when the rotor pump is delivered, the flow rate is different. For example, when our rotor pump is delivering water, its flow will drop. Because the concentration and viscosity of water are low, the rotor pump is a volumetric pump, but the flow and pressure will not be able to fight.
Rotor pumps are often used for material handling between two processes. For example, the emulsified material of the vacuum emulsifier can be transported to the barrel of the filling machine through the rotor pump. This can help with subsequent filling.
